GHUNGROO - KABHI REAL KABH CG

Back in Mumbai we edited and re-edited the sequence until we thought we had something good. To that we created the sequence of the fall of the trinklet. While intercutting Eklavya and the trinklet falling, the apparent distance the trinklet had to travel made it necessary to create a more floating movement, dreamlike (as was suggested by the director) with everything moving in slow motion. But this also made the trinklet feel too light. One solution was to edit Eklavya tighter and Vinod was very reluctant to do that.
So some more editing and re-editing until Vinod hit on an idea.
What if the trinklet hits a parapet on it’s way down!

We were shooting pigeons flying against a blue screen until we seemed to have material to composite as per our edit line-up (at that stage). During that shoot we quickly did a test of the bounce off the parapet. This was then composited and we had one more edit version of this sequence.
