of course, there was the trinklet which was supposed to be tied to the pigeon’s
foot. It was shot separately as an element that can be attached while compositing
to the pigeon’s foot and also created digitally in 3D depending on
what was more suitable for the shot so as to seamlessly show off the marksmanship
of Eklavya.
The fall of the trinklet was a bit of a concern. The initial brief from Vinod was to almost make it a dreamlike sequence in terms of timing but still realistic. Also he wanted to juice the part of Eklavya in the water, confused a bit with the sound of the water mingling with the falling trinklet before managing at the last moment to catching his prey, the trinklet (and not the pigeon as one tended to believe initially). |
