Storyboards as Shot Breakdown

Many scenes need to be boarded minutely into detailed shot breakdowns where every cut is defined to the shooting crew. This of course is obvious for VFX scenes but also for scenes involving heavy logistics, for instance while shooting Eklavya we had some scenes which involved logistics like handling a train, a railway track blocked for half the day for 10 days, about 200 camels, a vast crew, hordes of fans from all over the state who will do almost anything for a glimpse of their favorite stars, desert heat and changing light!!!

Storyboards can also get extremely diagrammatic as the heat of the production rises and sheer pandemonium can threaten to take over.
