Eklavya's Costumes

The fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore (who himself hails from the royal family of Jodhpur) designed the beautiful costumes for the film. Ekalavya's attire was a royal challenge too. Finding the right balance between tradition and heroic fantasy was often not easy. Everything from the size of the belt, the length of the kurta, the boots and the color of everything was subject of intense discussion. The actor had his own ideas and reservations about his look. Raghu considered all these opinions very carefully. Often, quick sketches assimilated these opinions and nailed down the ideas far faster than endless debate.
