CHARCOAL SKETCHES
The look for the sequence had to be painterly…It wasn’t to look like the beginning of an animation film.. The final images for the prologue came from Charcoal sketches of which we made an animatic to test the feel of the panels in continuity.. It felt very good and we would do a test of how these would animate.. The animation would be a subtle forming of these images with minimal character movement.. Sumant animated the first part of this test with a blend of these images and textures and a second part was added by Chetan and Gayatri to show how the story telling would progress..
